Cuelo is a private app for recommending shows and movies to a small circle of people you trust. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

What we collect

Account info — when you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email to create your account. If you use Apple's “Hide My Email,” we only see the relay address.
Your content — the shows you recommend, the notes and comments you write, your watch progress, and the circles you create or join.
Display name — what your circle sees; you can change it in Settings.

We do not collect contacts, location, advertising identifiers, or browsing activity, and Cuelo contains no third-party trackers or ads.

How we use it

Only to operate the app: authenticate you, show your circles their recommendations and commentary, and enforce the spoiler gate. We do not profile you or use your content to train any AI/ML system.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your data. We use a few service providers strictly to run Cuelo:

Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
Amazon Web Services — application hosting.
TMDB — show/movie metadata and images (we send a title query, not your identity).

Your content is visible only to members of the circles you belong to.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data until you delete it. You can permanently delete your account and all your data at any time from Settings → Delete account — this cannot be undone.

Children

Cuelo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We'll update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
